New Website to Support Writers and Storytelling – Firstpost

India’s biggest superstar Prabhas has launched The Script Craft, a website dedicated to promoting and rewarding writers. Known for his love for storytelling, Prabhas is supporting this initiative to provide a platform for writers to share their story ideas with a wider audience, showcase their creativity and gain exposure.

Script Craft allows writers to submit a 250-word summary of their story ideas. Viewers can then read and rate these stories, with the highest-rated stories rising to the top. The feedback system focuses on ratings rather than comments, creating a constructive environment that helps writers gain confidence and receive positive support for their ideas.

To celebrate its launch, The Script Craft is launching a special contest called “Imagine Your Favorite Hero with Super Powers!” Writers are invited to submit a story of no more than 3,500 words that reimagines a hero with superhuman abilities. Ultimately, one writer will be selected based on audience engagement for the unique opportunity to work as an assistant writer or assistant director on a real-life project—a valuable experience that sheds light on aspiring writers. Founded by Thaalla Vaishnav and Pramod Uppalapati, The Script Craft is promoted by Prabhas with the aim of encouraging new talent and providing unique opportunities for writers to showcase their storytelling potential and creativity.

In addition, The Script Craft plans to expand the audiobook feature, allowing writers to turn their stories into an immersive audio experience. This development is intended to help writers reach a wider audience, including listeners who prefer audio stories.
