WWE Superstars React to the Departures of Baron Corbin, Indi Harwell and Tegan Nox

The sudden and unexpected departure of three WWE Superstars Last Friday was a hot topic of conversation during the company’s latest UK tour.

Leading up to last week CollapseBaron Corbin was informed that his contract would not be renewed after 12 years with the company. He will become a free agent when his current contract expires. In the meantime, Indy Hartwell and Tegan Nox have been informed of their release and they will hit the market as soon as their non-competitive models run out.

Some of the superstars who were closest to these talents are now reacting to the company’s decision to let them go.

“It’s kind of like survivor’s guilt, you know what I mean? After a day or two you’re like, “Dude!” You just hate to see it for them.” Carmelo Hayes said UK Underground. “The Baron was one of the people who really liked me and took me under his wing. He did so much for me, he helped me so much, he gave me so much advice.”

Corbin provided more than just in-ring leadership and promotions. After more than a decade in WWE, the former United States Champion has given some valuable life and financial advice. Hayes says he is forever in his debt.

“It was one of those moments that really hurt to see because, believe it or not, Baron and I were pretty close, pretty close. Everyone loved the Baron!

Fellow SmackDown superstar Johnny Gargano spoke to Gorilla position on the release of his close friend and former stablemate Indy Hartwell.

“I have such a great relationship with Indy. This is very well known. We love her; she’s like a daughter (to Candice LeRae and to himself). And I think these three are incredibly talented. Personally, like we said in the indie scene, I can’t wait to see what these three do, I think they’re going to blow it up because they’re incredibly talented, have a lot to offer and I’m really excited to see what they do next . »

Gargano hopes that Indy can one day return to WWE like himself and Candice LeRae, who both took time away from the company due to the birth of their children.

Meanwhile, Johnny told Metro UK that he is looking forward to seeing Indy take this opportunity to improve her performance once she is able to fight elsewhere.

“I think she has untapped personality, untapped potential. I think when she can finally show it to the world, people will be hooked on it.”

Attack! Pro Wrestling announced Wednesday that Tegan Nox, now wrestling again under the name Nixon Newell, will appear at the “Attack’s Under the Mistletoe” event in Cardiff, Wales next month.
