Salman Khan shoots Sikandar with 4-tier security in Hyderabad, hotel turns into a fortress

Actor Salman Khan has resumed shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar in Hyderabad after receiving several death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang recently. According to the latest media report, the superstar is currently working under four layers of security at the Falaknuma Palace Hotel in Hyderabad. Report to Noon mentioned that director AR Murugadoss’ team is very careful not to compromise Salman’s safety and they have taken enhanced measures to protect the actor while filming in Hyderabad.

The post mentions that while guests can continue to book the hotel where filming is taking place, they will have to go through separate levels of security checks. This also includes a ban on entering the sections where the superstar and his team are filming. Even employees must undergo various levels of security screening and no substitutions are allowed.

A source close to the production told the newspaper that the palace hotel had been converted into a hotel. Even though the shoot is being done in one segment, the crew has ensured access to the entire hotel and grounds, turning it into a fortress,” the source said.

The report added: “Although guests can book a hotel stay, they must undergo two levels of screening: one from the hotel and another from Salman’s security team. Access to the facility is controlled – only those with prior permission can enter. After background and ID checks, employees also undergo daily checks and there is a strict no-replacement policy.”

Shera chooses Salman’s security team

Notably, Salman’s team hired a private security agency to act as a double layer over the government-authorized security. Currently, the actor is constantly under the protection of about 50-70 security personnel.

“Salman has a four-level security system. It includes hired private security, consisting of former paramilitary personnel. Then there is the team handpicked by Salman’s longtime bodyguard Shera and the cover provided by the Hyderabad Police and Mumbai Police. It is believed that Salman will move to Dubai to begin his show Da-Bangg Reloaded after wrapping up the shoot in Hyderabad. The 58-year-old actor is reportedly on a month-long shooting schedule where he is shooting for two special songs with Rashmimka Mandanna.

Sikandar is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and also stars Suniel Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal, among others, in important roles. It is planned to be released next year.
