On October 1, Portman shared a rare selfie on her Instagram account @natsbookclub. She shared a selfie showing off her book club picks: Lake of Creation Rachel Kushner. The caption read: “Can’t wait for us all to read the new Rachel Kushner—a novel about a secret agent sent to infiltrate a commune of radical environmental activists in rural France. #OctoberBookPick @realrachelkushner.”
