49ers’ Nick Bosa crashes Brock Purdy interview with MAGA cap

Nick Bosa is a man of few words at press conferences, but he went out of his way to make a statement when he interrupted a live interview after 49ers win Sunday night over the Cowboys.

Bosa approached Brock Purdy, who was being asked a question by Sunday Night Football reporter Melissa Stark. adjusted his white “Make America Great Again” cappointed to the message and ran out of frame.

Tight end George Kittle and running back Isaac Guerendo were also on hand to answer Stark’s questions.

Bosa has not been particularly shy about his support for former President Donald Trump, who is set to run in the Nov. 6 election and return to the White House. It stands out in the Bay Area, home to Democratic presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris.

The 27-year-old former NFL Defensive Player of the Year posed for a photo with Trump during an offseason UFC fight in Miami, near his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While in college at Ohio State, Bosa tweeted in support of Trump, but before being drafted, he said he stopped posting about the then-president and deleted some posts because he might be drafted in San Francisco.
