Daughter Challenges Demi Moore for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Role

Rumer Willis reveals she challenged her mother Demi Moore to compete Dancing with the Stars almost a decade ago.

Actress Willis36 years old, participated in the 20th season of the multi-year tournament. ABC at a ballroom dancing competition back in May 2015. Along with her professional dance partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Willis walked away as the winner, beating out singer and actor Riker Lynch and Army veteran Noah Galloway, who came in second and third place, respectively.

However, Willis shared this though Ghost Moore’s star was among the family members who cheered her on throughout her run on the series. The veteran screen star was unsure whether her daughter should compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

Appeared on a recent podcast episode Glamor and poiseWillis, whose father is action star Bruce Willis, was asked about her time on the show, prompting her to talk about the positive impact it had on her life.

“It was probably one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life,” Rumer Willis said. “Because even though it was crazy and so difficult.”

She continued: “Learning a new skill that had nothing to do with my parents was so respectful because my mom was like, ‘I don’t think you should do that. Like, this is – don’t do this.” And I said, “No, I’ll do it, I want to learn how to dance.” Like, whatever.”

Despite any doubts Moore may have had, she was the center of attention, along with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, a fixture in the audience throughout her successful run on the show. DVTS.

“I thrive under pressure—I thrive when I have to take on a challenge,” she said. “One of the hardest parts of life for me is when I don’t have something that I do. I think that’s when I start to get depressed, or if I start to worry or get depressed, is when I’m missing what I’m striving for.”

“I love challenges. I like to challenge myself,” she added. “I always wanted to be in the circus or to be in Olympic GamesYou know, when I was a kid, because I think I just… loved the idea of ​​performing at a very high level.

“I guess that’s why I find talent so attractive, because for people who are good at what they do, there’s nothing better, you know what I mean? It’s probably very toxic, but like you know… I always wanted to be someone who was good at pool, or darts, or roller skating, like, I always wanted to be good at random things, just because I thought it was really cool skill.”
