Chad Allford: It was unfortunate that man died from cocaine after police raid, jury verdict

Speaking to the BBC after the hearing, Mr Allford’s brother Jerome Allford paid tribute to him, describing him as a “loving father”.

He said his brother always “lit up the room with his laugh, big smile and cheeky personality.”

“As a family, we are struggling to find the words to fully describe the impact of losing Chad,” she said.

“The pain is immense and the impact of his son being so young is heartbreaking; he has so many questions that we struggle to answer.

“Chad wasn’t perfect; he made some bad choices in his life, but he wasn’t a bad person. He had a big heart and cared deeply for those around him.

“We cannot express the deep sadness and emptiness his departure and loss of his presence leaves in our hearts.”
