Trump and Joe Rogan gave a three-hour interview

Former President Trump was interviewed by podcast host Joe Rogan on Friday and the two spoke for nearly three hours.

The episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” was posted late Friday on YouTube and Spotify after the two men sat down at Rogan’s studio in Austin, Texas. The debate dragged on for so long that Trump’s planned rally in Traverse City, Michigan, was significantly delayed.

The video of the interview quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. Rogan denied claims by some on social media that the episode was censored.

“There is no problem with YouTube censoring the Trump episode. It was supposed to launch simultaneously on Spotify and YouTube, but there was a glitch in Spotify’s download system, so we’ve removed the YouTube link until it’s fixed. Everything should be fine now,” Rogan wrote on X.

Rogan is one of the most popular and controversial media personalities in the country, with each of his episodes being downloaded by millions and often featuring conversations with leading newsmakers. It is especially popular among young people, whom Trump’s campaign has specifically targeted.

Podcaster never received guests Trump has drawn criticism on his show “The Joe Rogan Experience” and in recent years for comments on public health and other controversial issues.

Rogan has previously said he is not a Trump supporter, and in 2022 he made it clear he would not be interested in having the former president appear on the show. But Trump and Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee, are making the rounds on popular podcasts in an effort to reach as many voters as possible.
