PAAPAM successfully completed PAPS 2024 – Business and Finance

LAHORE: Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2024, organized by Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM), successfully concluded its vibrant three-day exhibition at the Lahore Exhibition Centre.

The event, which kicked off on October 25, saw over 150 exhibitors this year, including 44 international exhibitors, 51 PAAPAM members and 43 local exhibitors, all gathered under the theme “Industrial Pakistan”.

Attended by a record 400,000 people, PAPS 2024 was Pakistan’s largest automotive event with leading industry players such as Honda, Toyota, Hyundai and Suzuki showcasing and displaying their latest innovations.

Chief Guest, University of Lahore Vice Chancellor Uzair Rauf visited the exhibition along with the organizer of PAPS 2024 and other dignitaries. The closing day was marked by a ceremony where all exhibitors were presented with shields for their contributions to the industry. In addition, the Innovation Awards ceremony recognized companies leading innovation in the auto parts and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) industries. The unique Live Drawing and Sculpture Awards celebrated artists who capture the spirit of Pakistan’s automotive sector through their art.

Reflecting on the success of the event, chief organizer Syed Nabeel Hashmi said, “PAPS 2024 has cemented its role as a leading platform for innovation, collaboration and development in the automotive industry of Pakistan. The event, which was attended by both local and international exhibitors, showcased the sustainability, creativity and technological advancement that is shaping the future of our automotive industry. Throughout the show, industry leaders, dignitaries and the public explored cutting-edge technologies, interacted with stakeholders and attended industry tours of OEM plants to gain insight into the latest advances in automotive manufacturing. The combination of exhibitions, test drives, industry tours and awards has raised the bar for Pakistan’s automotive sector, setting high expectations for future events.

PAAPAM President Usman Aslam Malik appreciated the efforts of all PAAPAM members, especially Coordinator Rehan Ahmad and General Secretary Anas Haroon for their commitment to making the event a success.
