Bonnyville teacher accused of luring boy

A Bonnyville teacher was accused of trying to lure a boy and his friends to her hotel room.

A concerned family member contacted police on Saturday.

The boy, whose age was not released by police, was said to have been talking to the woman through the app.

Janelle Arnold, 35, is charged with one count each of solicitation of sexual touching, child luring and failure to comply with a release order.

She was also charged in September with sexual abuse and interference with children.

Arnold previously worked as a teacher at Duclos School in Bonnyville for two years, according to Northern Light Public Schools.

She is scheduled to appear in court in Wainwright on November 7.
