Pennsylvania polls show close race with Election Day nearly a week away

(WHTM) — Pennsylvania polls continue to show a tight race nearly a week before Election Day.

According to FiveThirtyEight The race for president in Pennsylvania is “close,” according to Monday afternoon’s poll average, with Trump winning 48% of the vote to Harris’ 47.6% in the state. 19 electoral votes could decide the race.

As of last week, Trump is favored by 0.2% to 0.4% in Pennsylvania. On September 29, polling averages showed Harris leading Pennsylvania by 1%.

FiveThirtyEight’s Pennsylvania Election Forecast on Monday afternoon, Trump had won 53 times out of 100 simulations.

The last presidential poll released in the state was conducted Insider advantage showing Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris 48% to 47% among likely voters.

Pennsylvania expects fewer mail-in ballots in 2024 election

An Emerson College poll sponsored by RealClearPennsylvania last week showed Trump with a 2% lead, while a Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll sponsored by The Telegraph showed Harris up 1%.
