Rhiannon White: Hotel worker fundraiser fatally stabbed

Mr Majek appeared at Walsall Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted murder last Tuesday, but the charge was enhanced following Ms White’s death.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on November 19.

The Radisson Hotel Group said it was extremely saddened by the loss of such a valued colleague.

“Our sincere sympathies and deepest sympathies go out to Rhiannon’s family and we are providing our utmost support to those affected during this difficult time,” the statement said.

Detective Inspector Paul Attwell, from British Transport Police, added that officers were providing support to Ms White’s relatives.

“Our thoughts remain with them at this incredibly difficult time,” he said.

“I would like to reassure the public that this is an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.”
