One person injured in shooting in park near Tucson high school

TUCSON, AZ (13 News) – At least one person was injured in a shooting in a park near a Tucson high school on Tuesday, October 29th.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed that it happened at Tierra del Fuego Park, which is located at 2001 South Avenida Del Sol. The park is less than a mile from Palo Verde School.

TPD said officers were called to the scene regarding a shooting, but no victims were found. After some time, a person with injuries was admitted to the hospital.

TPD said the incident is under investigation and more information will be released later.
