What are the best PUBG settings? The innovator of the battle royale genre has changed a lot over the past seven years, so the settings you used at launch may no longer be suitable.

Reducing the render scale reduces the clarity of your game, so we recommend sticking with the default value of 100, which means the game will be rendered at the resolution you choose. For your FFP field of view value, it should be as high as possible in order to see as much as possible on the screen. Lowering this value may improve your performance, but only slightly.

When it comes to anti-aliasing, this is perhaps the most controversial graphics setting in PUBG. We recommend setting it to “ultra”, but beware of any drop in frame rate between settings levels and make the decision if the shift isn’t worth it. If you’re struggling to achieve consistent 60fps performance, you can gradually lower the suggested settings until you’re happy with your performance.

To ensure everything is clearly visible in the game, increase the textures to ultra. Keep your viewing distance high to maximize your ability to see enemies from afar, but it can be reduced to medium if performance becomes an issue. You’ll want to turn off the sharpening option because it conflicts with anti-aliasing and the two settings don’t play well together. Keep V-Sync disabled unless you experience severe screen tearing, but be aware that this may impact your performance. Always turn off motion blur. This option may look nice, but it reduces performance. Finally, use DirectX 11 Enhanced as DX12 is still considered unstable.
