NNL: ABS coach Sardauna set a goal for the season

ABS FC Head Coach Sani Sardauna has described the 2024/25 Nigeria National League (NNL) draw as fair.

Saraki Boys are in Group A of the Southern Conference along with Sporting Lagos, Solution, First Bank and Kun Khalifa.

Other teams in the group are Abakaliki, Madiba, Godswill Akpabio, Osun United and Rovers.

Sardauna said the club’s goal is to secure promotion to the Nigerian Premier League (NPFL) at the end of the season.

“We have experienced teams in our group, but the bottom line is that I have been given a mandate to take the club back to the elite division,” Sardauna told Owosports.

“We are finalizing preparations for the new season because we want to start the season positively.”

ABS will play Kun Khalifa in the first match of the season.

The new season begins on Saturday, November 30th.
