New England Patriots release important information on Drake Maye

New England Patriots are about to hit the road for a match against Tennessee Titans in Week 9 of the NFL. Let’s hope they start rookie Drake May at quarterback.

May fell with a concussion in the eighth week win over New York Jets. He progressed through concussion protocol throughout the week.

Wednesday morning Patriots unveil major update oh May. He will participate in limited practice today, giving him a chance to play on Sunday.

Having a rookie quarterback back on the field would be a big plus for New England. Their offense played much better behind May than it did under Jacoby Brissett.

Additionally, the 2024 season is extremely important for May’s development. He has already shown signs of improvement throughout his first two starts.

This season, May has completed 63.1 percent of his pass attempts for 564 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. He also contributed with 114 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

At 22, May has already shown superstar potential. He has a lot of room to grow and a lot of work to do, but he clearly has the talent to become something special.

This is great news for the Patriots. Even if May misses this week’s game, he should be back in week nine with no problem.

Hopefully we’ll get even better news in the next couple of days. The process appears to be going smoothly for the rookie quarterback so far.

It is clear that the situation is fluid and we will be sure to share updates about May as they become available. This is a big win for New England at this point.
