Trump’s “garbage” is much worse than what Biden said

It’s been clear for years that Donald Trump thinks people like me are trash. I refuse to accept the hateful rhetoric of him and others because I know America is better than this.

Donald Trump is the best at bringing out the worst in humanity, and he’s proud of it.

It’s been a few days since Trump supporters amused his Madison Square Garden crowd by calling Puerto Rico “floating island made of garbage”, disparaging blacks and Latinos and spewing embarrassing vulgarities.

Amid the furious backlash, the Trump campaign tried distance yourself from the comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s comments about Puerto Rico did not disavow other racist remarks made throughout the rally.

“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or his campaign,” said senior adviser Danielle Alvarez.

Trump accuses Biden of the same things he does

What about Trump? No, this man is proud of it himself, calling the rally in New York nothing more than “holiday of love

It’s not just deafness.

It showcases his warped view of America and describes the horrific and racist behavior he plans for the next four years if he returns to the White House.

On Tuesday, Trump and his allies immediately seized on Comments from President Joe Biden who appeared to call Trump supporters “trash.”

“Kamala’s crooked boss Joe Biden just called ALL my supporters TRASH – HE WAS TALKING TO YOU!” Trump said in an email sent moments after Biden’s comments.

What’s the difference here?

Biden shouldn’t have said that. It’s easy to say that

Joe Biden Clarifies Comments About ‘Trash’ Trump Supporters

President Joe Biden has clarified his remarks following a viral video clip that appears to show him calling Trump supporters “trash.”

no brand – worth attention

First, Biden said he was referring to Hinchcliffe’s joke, not Trump supporters. However, such statements are unacceptable from the president.

See? It’s not hard to say.

Secondly, Vice President Kamala Harris distanced herselfstating, “I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for.”

Here’s what to do responsibly. Give it up. Period.

Plus, guys, be realistic. Democrats had the courage to replace Biden with Harris at the last minute for the good of the country.

So what did the Republicans do?

They settled on a guy who still can’t come to terms with the fact that he lost the 2020 election, who led a violent mob to the Capitol to overturn the results – a convicted felon with dozens of felony charges.

Trump has been showing us his beliefs since 2015

Some Republicans did have the courage to speak out against the portrayal of Puerto Rico as a “floating pile of garbage,” but these are the same followers who see nothing wrong with Trump and point the finger at Democrats.

This “floating pile of garbage” struck a chord because it represents eight years of Trump’s denigrating punchlines against blacks, Latinos and all other non-white people.

Don’t forget that he began his presidential campaign in 2015 by calling the Mexican people “rapists” and criminals, increasing his belligerence towards what he called “some countries,” meaning Haiti and other countries.

He pursued harsh immigration policies, including banning Muslims and caging and separating migrant children from their parents.

Many people have already expressed their opinions and to be honest, I’m not writing new feelings here.

We cannot remain silent about “garbage”

I’ve been sounding the alarm about Trump for eight years because it’s been clear to me from the beginning that he views us, all people of color, as trash.

I refuse to accept this because deep down I know that America is better than this. I refuse to give up on the country that accepted me – not with handouts and welfare, but with education and opportunity.

I think it is unconscionable to remain silent when we have a voice and a platform to do so. I speak for myself, for my family and for all those who do not have the ability or means to do so.

I refuse to remain silent because it means being complicit not only in Trump’s blatant racism, but also in his authoritarian tendencies that threaten to destroy all democratic norms.
