Kamala Harris returns to Michigan on Sunday

Her campaign has not yet released details of the visit, but said it will follow Friday and Saturday visits to Wisconsin, Georgia and North Carolina. She plans to return to Pennsylvania on Monday, according to the campaign.

Sunday will be Harris’ 12th day of campaigning in Michigan since she announced she would run for the Democratic presidential nomination in July. This underscores the importance of Michigan to both campaigns. Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, plans to visit Detroit, Flint and Traverse City on Friday.

Poll shows the race here practically tied.

Her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, and his running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, are planning separate visits to Michigan on Friday.
