It’s officially election month. In a few days, the polling stations will close, and that will be the end of the election campaign. Elections 2024.

Following back-to-back events across the southwest on Thursday, Donald Trump heading to the Detroit suburbs Warren, Michigan for a rally on Friday afternoon, followed by an evening rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Partner JD Vance planned rallies in Portage, Michigan, and Selma, North Carolina. Surrogate Eric Trump is scheduled to appear at an event in Georgia.

Vance appears on Joe Rogan’s podcast

Vance appeared on The Joe Rogan Show. podcast“The Joe Rogan Experience,” Thursday. The episode, which is over three hours long and is on Spotify, has also been uploaded to YouTube channel of the show.

Trump was on Rogan’s podcast last week, and Kamala Harris was in talks to appear on it. but Rogan said he refused because he would not go to her. The podcast was recorded in Austin, Texas. Rogan said he would still like to meet Harris “to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a person.”

According to Spotify, Rogan’s show is his top podcast with 14.5 million subscribers.

Puerto Rico joke controversy continues

Faced with ongoing backlash over a comedian’s joke about Puerto Rico As “trash island” at a rally in Madison Square Garden, Trump on Thursday asked rallygoers in New Mexico whether they preferred to be called “Hispanos” or “Hispanics.” The crowd cheered louder for the “Latin American.”

“First of all, Latinos love Trump,” he said. “I like them. They’re smart.”

Meanwhile Harris said she disagreed. with President Joe Biden comments when he seemed to mean TrumpThe president’s supporters were called “trash,” saying that while the president had clarified his remarks, she disagreed with criticizing voters based on who they support.
