How to Complete the Liberty Falls Main Quest Easter Egg Guide in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Liberty Falls main quest Easter Egg can be started as soon as you enter the Dark Aether Church. This is where you will find the Pack-a-Punch machine, so follow the objective marker on the map until you reach the church. Once inside, look at the wall to the right of the machine to see a large machine. Interact with him and the ghostly Doctor Pericles Panos will appear on the balcony overlooking the church. This officially starts the Easter Egg quest.

Get a jet gun

The first thing you need to do is get the card’s wonder weapon, the Thrustodyne M23, also known as the Jet Pistol. You have a random chance of getting this weapon from Mystery Box or reward chests, but by collecting its parts you can guarantee that you will get the weapon by building it. Gameranx has a complete guide to how to build a jet gunso you can check that out if you want a full breakdown. You will need to find 3 parts on the map and then bring them to the workbench in the Motor Lodge motel room. Here are all the details of the jet pistol:

  • Water pressure gauge: Take the water valve on Washington Avenue and place it on the panel in Fuller’s Bowling Alley. Hold the interaction button on the valve until the meter fills and the pressure gauge pops up.
  • Electrical wires: Use the Mangler Cannon to destroy the shutters of the Radio House Electronics supermarket across the street from Olly’s Comics in the Riverside area. Dig through piles of scrap metal
  • Handbrake: Kill the Zombie Gardener in the Graveyard to get the Tool Shed Key. Open the shed in the gardener’s yard to find a handbrake.

Build LTG

Now that you have the jet pistol, you can collect all the parts for the Limited Dimensional Gateway device. Like the jet pistol, the LTG comes in 3 parts and can be assembled in any order. The first piece can be seen floating in the Church of Dark Ether near the balcony to the left of Panos.

The centerpiece of the cylinder is on the ceiling of Olly’s Comics.

The last piece is in the second floor window of Buzz’s Cuts on Washington Avenue. Jump either from the roof of the Savings and Loan Bank known as the “Alamo” or from the roof of Buzz’s Cuts to land on the white truck on the road. This will give you a good view of the window and allow you to see the detail.

Once you’ve collected all the parts, head to the Alamo workbench at the top of the beach to build the LTG.

Fill the Ether Canister

LTG is used to summon two elite HVT zombies that you will need to defeat in order to charge the Ether Canister. LTG can only be placed in two locations, both of which are directly underneath the Aether storm clouds located throughout the map. The first one is in the center of the Cemetery to the right of the Dark Ether Church.

Another portal location is in the Riverside area, on the road next to the viewfinders that are linked to the Rave Dance Easter Egg.

You will need to do both to complete the Easter egg, but either one can be done first. Before you go and use the LTG, grab the Ether Canister and place it next to one of the Aether Field Generator trap nodes. You can get the first Canister by interacting with the one sticking out of the machine in the Dark Aether.

Place LTG in one of the places and protect it for 1 minute. Target the zombies that are glowing purple because these are the enemies that will try to destroy the LTG. After a minute, HVT will appear. Weaken the enemy until he emits a purple flash, then lead him to the field generator with the canister. Trigger the trap and kill the HVT while he’s standing in the same field as the Canister to switch him out. If you fail to protect an LTG or kill an HVT while out of the battlefield, you will have to wait until the next round to try again, but if you manage to protect an LTG, you won’t have to redo it.

Once the ether canister is charged, pick it up and take it back to the car in the church. You won’t be able to run with it, and you only have 90 seconds to get to the car, so plan your route accordingly. After completing this step, be sure to grab the LTG as you will need it again later.

Activate Ethereal Scouts

After you return your first Ether Canister to the machine in the church, a compartment will open with a Strauss Counter inside. This item will tell you what color you need to select for the three Ether Scouts found on the map to unlock the second Ether Canister.

As you approach each of these Ethereal Scouts, hold down the Tactical Grenade button to pull out the Strauss Counter. The meter screen will be green, yellow or red. You must interact with the Ethereal Scout to change the color of its light. Set the car color to the opposite color of the counter. So if the meter is green, set the machine to red and vice versa. If the meter is yellow, set the machine to yellow.

You can interact with these scouts in any order. The closest to the church is on the lawn near the stairs to the top of the hill overlooking Liberty Lanes.

Another one is on the lawn in the gardener’s yard.

The last one is on the roof of the Yummy Freeze store. You can enter this area by purchasing the door on the roof of the Alamo, which overlooks the Yummy Freeze.

Fill the second canister with ether.

Once all the Scouts are assigned the correct colors, they will shoot beams at the car in the spawn room next to the Pump & Pay gas station. When all the beams are fired into the machine, a second canister of ether will appear.

Now that you’ve acquired the second canister, place it next to one of the Aether Field Generator nodes and use LTG in the area where you didn’t call HVT before. Defeat this HVT in the field using the canister. Now take the charged canister to the church and place it in the car.

If both ether canisters are in the machine, the final boss encounter can be started by interacting with the machine. Before you do this, I suggest making sure you have at least one Legendary and Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch weapon. The Level 3 Beam Gun is also a great option. The Jet Pistol doesn’t need a full upgrade as it will mostly be used for horde killing if you get into trouble. Buy a Tri-Plate Body Armor and make sure you have at least Juggernog, Speed Cola and Quick Revive as perks. If you use the ray gun, you will also receive a PhD Flopper.

Complete the last encounter

Once you are fully prepared for the final encounter, interact with the machine in the church. The room will close and you will be trapped in the Dark Aether as zombies attack you. Killing zombies will start charging the device. This battle consists of 3 phases. In the first stage there will be regular zombies and some elites. Once the wave is defeated, a full armor boost will appear.

The next phase will still have a lot of normal zombies, but then the HVT Mangler will appear. This wave will not end until you defeat HVT. Once the HVT is defeated, destroy the remaining zombies and the phase will be completed. An increase in the maximum amount of ammunition will appear.

The last phase is similar to the previous one, except the HVT that spawns is an abomination. Wait for the boss to use a heavy beam attack and target the open mouths to destroy his three heads to make this battle much easier. If you have the Aether Shroud Field upgrade, this also gives you a huge ability to target heads without zombies being a threat to you. Once the HVT is dead, continue fighting the zombies until there is an explosion and you are knocked down.

The final cutscene will play as Panos leaves you in the Dark Aether. The first time you do this, you’ll receive some cosmetic items such as a Calling Card and Weapon Talisman, as well as the “Bye Bye Dark Aether” trophy and achievement. You can leave the match immediately or continue playing. Returning to Liberty Falls will reward you with points, several legendary-tier weapons, and all the bonuses in the game.

You can now contain the outbreak and complete the Liberty Falls main quest Easter egg in Black Opera 6 Zombie. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates and guides on Black Opera 6 as well as other great games in the future.
