With five days until Election Day, presidential polls still show it’s anyone’s race.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump They will take their final steps on the campaign trail by spending time in the key swing state of Nevada on Thursday in hopes of winning over more voters ahead of Election Day. But as we reach the end of the election cycle, many voters are not excited about election night.

Here’s where Trump and Harris rank in the polls, and how Americans feel about the election heading into the weekend before Election Day.

Who is winning the polls in the presidential race?

Many of the polls that have been conducted have shown that Trump has an advantage when it comes to the economy, while Harris has an advantage when it comes to abortion issues.

Harris and Trump have moved closer in the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina.

In key swing statesthe race is close too. A new CNN poll conducted by SSRS found that in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, the race is tied, and the new Quinnipiac University poll Trump gained a 1-point lead over Harris, USA TODAY reported.

North Carolina and Michigan also remain heavily contested for both candidates.

Trump leads Harris by two percentage points in North Carolina, data shows new UMass Lowell/YouGov poll released Thursday. The poll of 650 likely voters showed Trump leading Harris 47% to 45% ahead of the 2024 election. The poll, conducted Oct. 16-23, had a margin of error of 4.2 percentage points.

In Michigan, Harris has a narrow 4-point lead over Trump. according to the latest University of Massachusetts survey out of 600 likely voters. The poll showed Harris leading Trump by 49% to 45%. The poll, conducted Oct. 16-24, had a margin of error of 4.49 percentage points.

Voters left disappointed and anxious ahead of Election Day

Last AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research A poll released Thursday shows Democrats and Republicans are equally frustrated with the election campaign. But Democrats are more concerned. The poll found that 79% of Democrats said they were concerned, compared with 66% of Republicans.

And many Americans are not thrilled about the presidential contest. Just 24% of independents, 37% of Democrats and 41% of Republicans said they were encouraged by the election.

When will we know who will be elected president?

This may take some time.
