Two arrested after police find suspected methamphetamine and cocaine during traffic stop

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police said two people were arrested Thursday after a traffic stop in Carroll County led to police finding suspected cocaine and methamphetamine in a vehicle.

KSP said that during a search of the vehicle, police and canine units found approximately 1,524 grams of cocaine, suspected to be methamphetamine, approximately 86 grams of suspected cocaine and an “undisclosed amount of currency.”

Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Kevin Reynolds and the passenger as Roxanne Foster.

Reynolds was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance A crime of the 1st degree or greater, exceeding 2 grams of methamphetamine.
  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance A crime of the 1st degree or greater, exceeding 4 grams of cocaine.
  • Trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces
  • Second degree trafficking in a controlled substance
  • Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Store

Foster was arrested on an active warrant, according to KSP.
KSP said the incident is under investigation.
