While many new games struggle with technical issues, DA Veilguard stands out for its good performance. While some players are concerned about high CPU usage, a quick fix can help.

Dragon Age ensured a smooth launch on both consoles and PC. Despite a few minor technical glitches such as shader compilation crashes and from time to time control problemsThe game’s overall performance is impressive, with no significant framerate drops. However, some players have reported unusually high CPU temperatures. Luckily, there is a simple solution to this problem.

If you notice high CPU temperature while gaming Dragon Agetry the following:

  1. Open Control Panel and find Power Options.. You can use the search bar to find it.
  2. Click on “Make a power plan”name it, click Next and then Create.
  3. Click “Change plan settings” and find “Possible additional power settings” option.
  4. Look for “PCI Express” and then look for “Link State Power Management”.. Select Moderate Energy Saving.
  5. Find “CPU Power Management”. and set the minimum CPU state to 80% while adjusting maximum up to 90%. You can gradually increase these values, but only if your computer can handle it.
  6. Save your new power plan by clicking “Apply” and then “OK”.

This power plan should reduce CPU usage while gaming. Dragon Age. Just remember to return to normal settings for other things. While these settings may have a slight impact on frame rates, they are a reasonable compromise to protect your hardware. You can also try closing background apps and overlays to help your CPU.
