On “Family Matters” he raps, which he considers his friend and producer Metro Bumin he was influenced by rap “Pluto makes me sick, we’ve never been through this.”

Now it seems that perhaps there was no real problem between them and they may have worked out their differences.

On a recent episode of Elliot Wilson’s podcast Big picture which he shares with Jeremy Hecht and DJ Hed, The journalist reports that Drake and Pluto have been talking on the phone since Kendrick Lamar was handed the post-beef crown.

“Drake and Future got on the phone and resolved their differences. According to reliable reports, Drake and Future at least got on the phone and resolved their differences. I don’t know what that means,” Wilson said before revealing what could have been the catalyst.

“Obviously, we saw Young Thug coming out of jail, being incarcerated, and giving off energy like, ‘Hey guys, let’s start over,’” Wilson continued. “So I think it helped the energy when Future published it.”

Wilson is referring to an Oct. 18 tweet from Young Thug in which he wanted the wrestling to end. The tweet said: “We are all brudds. Without our collaboration, the music won’t be the same,” said Drake, Future and MetroBoomin.

Wilson confirmed that Metro was not involved in the peacemaking conversation.

“But I believe Drake and Future are on the same page again,” Wilson said, reflecting on how What a time to be alive collaborators will reunite musically through one song or project.

“We know Drake and Future have a very rich history. And Drake was obviously the one who said that he doesn’t really know what they really went through and that he took the lightest hit of all, so it makes sense to some extent,” concludes Wilson.

Drake and Future haven’t collaborated since 2022. “Wait for you” but there were never any clear signs of a split until Future appeared on Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which features Kendrick.
