Eric Friedman serves as showrunner and executive producer, along with writers and executive producers Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis. Acclaimed songwriters Diane Warren and Bahareh Batmang serve as executive producers, and Warren wrote the songs for the pilot. Jodi Hahn directed and executive produced the pilot.

Vampirina (wt), based on the books by Anne Marie Pace and illustrated by Leuyen Pham, is inspired by the Disney Jr. animated series. Vampirina by Chris Nee. It follows a vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living among humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity a secret, which becomes even more challenging when her overprotective father assigns an overzealous ghost to live with her at school.

The series stars newcomer Kenzie Richardson as V, Jiwon Lee (Rise up, sing) as Sophie, Sean Dixon (District) as Elijah, Milo Maharlika (Les Miserables National Tour of Broadway) as Demi and newcomer Faith Headley (Disney Lion King, International tour) as Britney.

Randy Barnes serves as showrunner and executive producer. Tim Federle and Bronwyn North-Reist are executive producers. Kimberly McCullough directed and executive produced the pilot.
