Taylor Swift suffered a technical problem on the first night of the Eras Tour Indianapolis

She knows how to get rid of it.

Taylor Swift handled a technical glitch like a pro on the first night of her Eras Tour in Indianapolis on Friday.

Video obtained by Page Six shows a stagehand helping the pop superstar remove the microphone unit that was attached to her waist after its battery apparently died during her performance of “Lavender Haze.”

Swift, 34, smiled despite the technical difficulties and looked completely unfazed as she continued to sing the lyrics to the 2002 song while holding onto her earpiece.

When the incident ended, the “Shake It Off” singer pranced giddily around the stage as fans cheered her on.

Swift performed to a sold-out crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium for the first of back-to-back concerts this weekend in Indianapolis.

The “Karma” singer took the stage shortly after Joe Hogsett, the mayor of Indianapolis. November 1–3, 2024 declared “Taylor Swift Weekend.”

“In honor of Taylor Swift’s upcoming three nights of #ErasTour at @LucasOilStadium and the expected nine-figure economic impact it will bring to our city, I am pleased to declare the first weekend of November 2024 ‘Taylor Swift Weekend.’ in the city of Indianapolis,” Hogsett wrote via X last week.

He also shared a photo an official letter of proclamation from the “office of the mayor.”

Swift just arrived at the Eras Tour shows in New Orleans last week, where she was joined by some of her famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The “Deadpool and Wolverine” star spoke about his experience participating in the pop star’s show via Instagram on Thursday, telling his followers that he’ll “still be talking about seeing” Swift’s show in Louisiana for years to come.

“Not just because it’s one of the best things I’ve seen/heard/felt. And not just because you see the stunning and positive economic impact this tour is having on small businesses throughout NOLA, a city that has been through so much for so long,” he explained in a lengthy caption.

“The main reason I will never forget this show is because it brings people together in so many ways. And in 2024 (where that feeling is so damn scarce) that’s a special and incredibly rare thing,” he continued.

“I don’t understand the incredible amount of work, care, talent and discipline it takes @taylorswift to create an experience like this because I’m not a scientist. It is a sporting event and a collective cultural phenomenon. It’s a gigantic but intimate place.”

Reynolds concluded his message by saying that the “only bummer” is that Swift can’t be in the audience to see the incredible show she puts on for fans.

“To look after herself, I would like her to know something,” he said. “But it’s physically impossible, and even if it were possible, you can’t just get tickets at the last minute.”
