What is Connections Sports Edition?

New York TimesThe latest daily word game was launched in collaboration with Athleticproperty of the New York Times, which covers sports events. Connections it can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group four words that have something in common.

Each puzzle consists of 16 words, and each group of words is divided into four categories. These sets can include anything from book titles, software, country names, etc. Although several words may seem to go together, there is only one correct answer.

If a player correctly names all four words in a set, those words are removed from the board. Guess incorrectly and it counts as an error: players make up to four errors for the rest of the game.
