My Turn: Renee Scheidt: Buyer’s Remorse

There is nothing worse than realizing too late that you have been deceived. You buy a commercial offer and after the purchase you discover that you have been misled. I dare say that if Kamala wins the White House, many of those who supported her will soon feel buyer’s remorse. Since she refused to hold a press conference and advised the public to look at her website to learn about her policies (which few do), they remain largely unknown. Those who control it know that the press conference will have disastrous consequences, so they mostly keep it secret. If Kamala had revealed her true plans, she would never have won.

She also has the distinction of being the only candidate to never receive a single vote. Instead of being elected by the Democratic National Committee delegates, she was chosen by important politicians such as Pelosi, Obama and Schumer. She, like Biden, will play the same game, serving as a figurehead for those behind the scenes dictating what her next move will be.

Because Kamala’s last four years as president are so dismal, she cannot continue what she has done. The future goals of her handlers are so radical that she cannot reveal them. All she has left in her arsenal is to demonize Trump. The “Harris Hitler Hysteria” is now on full display. Her game plan is to scare voters into believing that “Trump is a threat to democracy.” How ironic, because that’s exactly what elite Democratic operatives did, kicking Biden out and installing Kamala in his place. How democratic is it to be elected by the powerful behind-the-scenes Democrats who call the shots, rather than being elected by the DNC delegates?

I’m tired of hearing her lies that Trump will become a dictator and jail those who oppose him. It was she and Joe who sent the FBI to raid the homes of those who opposed their policies. They were the ones who used the Department of Justice and the IRS as weapons against their enemies.

Spare me the nonsense that Trump will impose a nationwide ban on abortion or round up dissidents in concentration camps. This is a scare tactic designed to trick you into getting your vote.

Some hard-headed journalists believe that if elected, Kamala will grant amnesty to the millions of “illegal workers” illegally in our country. Don’t be surprised when she proposes to compensate black citizens for the slavery that their ancestors suffered. Expect her to advocate for the government to take over and undermine parents’ authority on issues of gender, abortion and what children are taught in school. Strict restrictions will be placed on firearms. Police will be allowed to enter gun owners’ homes without a warrant to check that firearms are properly stored. The market will see higher prices because it will tax the rich and large corporations to force them to pay “their fair share.” They, in turn, then pass these costs on to consumers. Criminal laws will be changed with fewer prison sentences, which will lead to an increase in street crime. Funding for police departments will be cut. Freedom of speech will be limited as those who criticize the government and some minorities will be jailed. Because she believes in fairness, not equality, the government will hand out tax-funded handouts to select groups to address “income disparities.” Prostitution and marijuana will be legalized, and abortion will become unlimited. The Supreme Court will be enlarged and filled with liberal judges. If any of this sounds like Marxism, that’s because it is. What else could you expect from a daughter whose parents were communists and the most liberal senator ever elected?

I agree that Trump has his problems. But with a dream team of experts and a past winning record, our country is much more likely to see the average American’s life improve beyond what Harris has given us over the past four years. With Elon Musk, RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard all former Democrats willing to fix the problems Harris created, the future looks brighter than four more years of the same thing.

Nobody likes to be told, “I tried to tell you, but you didn’t listen.” Hopefully this won’t be necessary. With the future development of our country at stake, this election is too important to experience buyer’s remorse.
