With just 48 hours left in the race for the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump began campaigning on the Sunday before election day on November 5th.

Opinion polls show tight race between Harris and Trump in Michigan and others states on the battlefieldincluding Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

More than 75 million people have already voted through early in-person voting and mail-in voting, according to the University of Florida. Election laboratory on Saturday.

“It was fun,” she told reporters on the tarmac before flying to Michigan for another round of rallies ahead of Election Day.

On Sunday, the vice president will attend a service and speak at a black church in Detroit, visit a local barbershop in Pontiac and hold a rally at Michigan State University in East Lansing.

Trump is expected to hold rallies in Lititz, Pennsylvania, Kinston, North Carolina and Macon, Georgia.

Governor of Minnesota Tim WalzHarris’ partner and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff Return to the Atlanta metro area for a series of Get Out The Vote events on Sunday, including a rally with musical performances Jon Bon JoviWar and treaty and Michael Stipe. Walz will travel to Gastonia, North Carolina, that evening, according to the campaign.

Harris will wrap up her campaign in Pennsylvania on Monday with rallies in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, followed by a concert in Allentown featuring rapper Fat Joe and an appearance by Frankie Negron, both Puerto Rican heritage. Campaign officials say the rally is aimed at mobilizing the Latino community in the Keystone State to get out and vote.

Governor and his wife Gwen Walzwill campaign in Wisconsin and Michigan on Monday, and they will visit Pennsylvania on Tuesday before heading to Washington, DC.

On November 5, the Harris-Waltz campaign confirmed it would hold election night at Howard University in Washington, D.C., Harris’ alma mater.

The Trump campaign will hold an election watch party at the convention center in West Palm Beach, Florida, but has not yet announced former president’s plans for election nightAccording to the Palm Beach Post, part of the USA TODAY Network in Florida.

In 2020, Trump declared himself the winner early on the morning of Election Day, three days before the first election. TV networks made the call. He ultimately lost to his Democratic opponent Joe Biden. He never accepted the result and continues to falsely claim that it was stolen from him in a widespread fraud.
