Raleigh shooting | A man is seriously injured after being shot at a homecoming event near Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — One man was seriously injured after being shot Sunday morning near Shaw University.

It happened in the 700 block of South Person Street in Raleigh.

Police were called around 12:40 p.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. According to investigators, the victim attended a homecoming party.

The man was taken to the hospital.

There are no suspects in custody at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
