‘The Sopranos’ Drea De Matteo Says She Voted for ‘Big Daddy’ Donald Trump: ‘We Voted for Ourselves’

Drea de Matteoknown for her role in Sopranorecently announced that she cast her vote for the Republican candidate Donald Trump V US Presidential Election 2024.

IN Instagram story The Emmy-winning actress, playing her boyfriend Michael Devine, said: “Guess who we voted for? We voted for ourselves. We the people. You and I with the Justice League are ready to drain the damn neocon/corporate swamp.”

De Matteo, who played Adriana La Cerva HBOacclaimed series, expressed her support for Trump and his candidate for vice president, JD Vanceaffectionately calling Trump “Big Daddy.”

In another post, she wore a T-shirt that read “TRUMP 2024” and “Fuck your feelings,” urging her followers to “examine your reality” and adjust their political views as if their “life depended on it.”

On July 4, she called herself a “lifelong progressive liberal,” saying she would be “damned if a captured blue or red party” puts another “puppet in the blue seat to carry out the deep state’s agenda.”

De Matteo criticized wealthy celebrities for urging voters to focus on social issues such as abortion rights, saying, “These are not priorities.” She pointed out the inconsistencies in voting for women’s rights while women’s sports face challenges, saying: “You vote for my body, my choice, if it suits your opinion.”

She emphasized the need for true democracy, suggesting that decision-making should be returned to the states to involve the public more directly.

As a woman, mother and pro-choice and pro-life advocate, she shared her personal experience, saying, “I terminated my pregnancy and gave birth to two beautiful children. This year, I encourage all women to move beyond abortion rights.”
