Youths in the North have called for Nigeria’s political revival in 2027, vowing to resist the orders of old political gladiators to seize political power in the country.

They gathered at the Arewa House in Kaduna to review the agenda of the federal government under President Bola Tinubu to transform the country while passing a vote of no confidence in the administration.

At the Northern Youth Summit organized by the National Youth Alliance (NYA), various speakers spoke of the need to unite on the formidable front and support a young man to take up the high office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027. .

They blamed the economic problems the country is experiencing on the lack of ideas that could move the country forward.

In an interview with journalists, NJA President, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas lamented that Nigeria’s current political leadership is out of touch with the challenges faced by citizens.

He said NYA is a movement that attracts youth from all political parties with the sole aim of creating a Nigeria that works for everyone.

“New York has succeeded in attracting youth from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labor Party (LP), APGA, NNPP and other parties,” he said.

“As you can see, they came here in large numbers for what they believe in, as patriots of Nigeria, they are hungry for change that will put Nigeria on the right pedestal.”

Abbas said the threats he receives from old politicians will not stop him from using all available legal means to ensure that Nigeria gets things right.

He condemned the prosecution of minors for allegedly participating in the Endbadgovernance protest, calling it inhumane and contrary to the Child Rights Act.
