Samsung Trade-In Program Explained: Which Devices Are Eligible?





If you’re a Samsung fan but don’t have the money for a Samsung, there’s a way to bring the overall cost of your purchase down to a more reasonable price. Thanks to Samsung’s Trade-In program, if you have phone, smart watch, headphones, laptop or tablet lie around what you don’t need or need, you can exchange it to Samsung when purchasing a new device. No need to pay full price for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra if you don’t need it.

Here’s how it works: When you buy a product through the Samsung website or Shop Samsung app, simply add any device to your cart and then select the item you’re trading in. Your transaction amount will be displayed on the website or app. -in stands and subtracts it from the total. Then, when your new device arrives, you send it back to Samsung. It is important to perform a factory reset, disable any antivirus software, and transfer data (if necessary) before mailing. Samsung has an extensive list of devices it accepts, as well as their trade-in prices. Of course, this also depends on its condition at the time you received the Samsung, and the list itself changes over time. Most importantly, for a device to be eligible for the program, it must have an FCC ID showing that it meets all FCC requirements for operation in the United States, as the exchange program is only available to US residents.

And this is very important: you only have 15 days from the date of receipt of your new Samsung device to receive it through the trade-in program. Otherwise you will be charged the full price.

If Samsung receives your device and determines that it is not eligible for the Jailbroken Device Offer, Samsung will list it at $0 and give you the option to return it. You will have seven days from receipt of Samsung’s written offer to request a refund. Once you decide to return your device, it will not be possible to cancel and it will be sent to the original address you provided when you purchased your new device. But if the jailbroken device is acceptable, then you can get it Galaxy Z Flip 6 or another Samsung product you’ve been eyeing for months, at a significant discount.
