A bus carrying more than 30 passengers fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand, with many fearing it was trapped

It is feared that more than 30 passengers were trapped in a bus that fell into a gorge in Almora in Uttarakhand on Monday. At least 35 people were on the bus at the time of the accident.

Police and three rescue teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were dispatched to the scene in Salt area of ​​Marchula.

Salt District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar said some passengers were rescued and hospitalized.

The incident was reported to authorities around 9 a.m. by passengers who fell off the bus during the incident.
