New to Netflix: 5 Movies and Shows to Watch This Week (November 4-10)

Among the best shows and movies new to Netflix this week is the second part of the final season of one of Netflix’s biggest shows. The fourth season of Outer Banks kicked off with a bang last month. Now the second part has arrived, bringing us to the end of this already drama-filled season.

But it’s not a Netflix original show that’s returning this week. Arcane, the animated League of Legends series, returns with its second and final season, premiering its first episode this Saturday.

“Outer Banks” Season 4 Part 2

“Outer Banks” is about a group of teenagers from the Outer Banks of North Carolina known as “The Pogs.” Pogs are novice treasure hunters, but they often just manage to get themselves into trouble. There’s fighting, romance and a lot of gold – at one point they even find the lost city of Eldorado.

As you can see, this teen drama set in the Carolinas has quickly expanded beyond the barrier islands, although the drama between the local Pogues and the wealthy seasonal residents known as the “Jackass” never goes away. This season, the Pogs have returned closer to home in search of Blackbeard’s lost treasure. The first five episodes already aired in October, so stay tuned and then catch the final half of the season when it releases on November 7th.

“The Secret Secret”, Season 2, Act I

If you’ve played League of Legends, you know that the game doesn’t offer much in the way of interactive character creation. The characters have unique designs and backstories, but the focus is on how each champion best suits your team’s gameplay.

This makes Arcane even more impressive because it excels at story and world-building, which the game lacks. The show is set in the wealthy utopian city of Piltover and the seedy, oppressed lowlands of Zaun, and stars Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell as the voices of sisters Vi and Powder (later Jinx). In season two, these sisters, on rival sides of the conflict, face the fallout from Jinx’s attack on the Council and the increased likelihood of conflict between Piltover and Zaun.

“Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson”

Jake Paul’s professional boxing career has been an interesting one. The YouTuber has 11 wins, but he lost his first fight to another current professional boxer by split decision against Tommy Fury. He’s since beaten two other active professional boxers, so he may have turned the corner. But this may be the most difficult test for him.

This is because he will fight Mike Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Tyson may almost be eligible for Social Security, but he also has a resume that makes him one of the greatest boxers of all time. “The Lost City”

Sandra Bullock plays Loretta Sage in The Lost City. Loretta is an archaeologist turned novelist who draws from her time as an explorer to inspire her stories. However, after her husband’s death, she has become a recluse and is forced by her publisher, Beth (Da’Vine Joy Randolph), to quit and go on tour to promote her new book, along with her book cover model, the dim-witted Alan Caprison (Channing). Tatum). But when billionaire Abigail Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe) kidnaps Loretta to help him find a lost treasure, Beth and Alan must save her.

I loved The Lost City when I saw it in the theater. This is a fun romantic comedy with a lot of humor and a very good cast. He also has great Brad Pitt makes a cameo as Jack Trainer, a former Navy SEAL turned CIA operative who, along with Alan and Beth, helps rescue Loretta… which doesn’t go according to plan.

“See you next Christmas”

One Christmas, Leila (Milian) meets James (Kofi Siriboe) when all the flights at the airport are delayed or cancelled. They hit it off and James says they should meet next Christmas at the Pentatonix Christmas concert if that’s what it’s meant to be.

Of course, fast forward almost a year and the concert is sold out. So Layla hires Teddy (Devale Ellis), a well-connected professional concierge, to help her find a ticket. But will she meet the man of her dreams instead? You’ll have to watch to find out.
