The 2024 Melbourne Cup is just around the corner with 24 horses racing over 3200m to claim Australia’s biggest racing title.

But while this race brings the nation to a standstill, there’s a huge day of action ahead right at Flemington and you won’t miss a moment with Roar guide for the whole day.

Things will start bright and early at Flemington with gates opening for fans and punters at 8:30am (AEDT) to begin finding their seats and positions for the 10-race day.

The first of 10 races will then begin with the Darley Maribyrnong Plate at 10:45am (AEDT) and then run at 35-minute or 40-minute intervals until Race 7, which is the Furphy Plate at 1:55pm (AEDT). ).

While all this is going on, Fashions on the Field will also be keeping players entertained.

There will be approximately an hour’s break on the track after Race 7 as final preparations are completed for the Melbourne Cup itself, where the 24-horse field will enter the parade ring at approximately 2:40 pm (AEDT) – 20 minutes earlier. the start of the race for submissions.
