Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget launches 0 thousand funding program for women’s blockchain startups – SME News

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget launched a $100,000 funding program at DevCon 24 to support women-led blockchain startups, the company announced Monday. Building on its larger $10 million Blockchain4Her project, Bitget said the “Pitch n Slay” program is accompanied by mentorship from seasoned professionals in the blockchain industry.

Startups will have access to up to $100,000 in funding from Foresight Ventures, a global early-stage investor specializing in technology investments.

After the initial round of submissions, finalists will receive support in market strategy, scaling and technology led by industry experts including Gracie Chen, CEO of Bitget, Taya A, CEO of World of Women, Ming Xue, Partner at Foresight Ventures, Tess Howe, Founder of Tess Ventures, and other renowned Web3 leaders.

IndiGo’s new startup fund IndiGo Ventures gets SEBI approval for launch

The finalists will pitch their projects to investors and judges on November 15th in Bangkok, Thailand, with three winners receiving grants to further develop their startup journey.

The first winner will take home $5,000, second place will be rewarded with $3,000, and third place will subsequently receive $2,000. The three winners will be eligible to continue to participate in Foresight Ventures, and if the deal goes through, each will be eligible to receive up to $100,000 in pre-seed funding.
