Saquon Barkley’s hurdle back in an NFL game will blow your mind

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley appeared to have invented a new football move when he launched a stunning backwards slam over a Jacksonville Jaguars defender on Sunday.

Call it “Saquon”.

“The Saquon play, what I think is really cool is that kids all over the country and all over Philadelphia—I really think about it—will try to do this play, talk about this play, and imitate this play while they play. backyard football or Pee-wee football,” Sirianni said in a team transcript, according to NBC Sports.

“They won’t be able to do it because I think he’s the only one in the world who can do it,” Sirianni continued. “I was speechless. It was incredible, and the way the crowd – when I looked up, it was like I thought I saw what I saw. As a coach, sometimes you look at the line, at the secondary, at the defense. So, I thought I saw it, but when I looked at the big screen and the crowd reacted to it, it was incredible. I can’t say enough about how athletic he is.”
