Albany County man guilty of making terroristic threats

An Albany County man has been found guilty of making terroristic threats.

Jeffrey Rockefeller, 56, of Berlin, was found guilty of two counts of second-degree aggravated stalking and one count of making a terroristic threat after a jury trial.

Prosecutors said Rockefeller threatened to harm an Albany police detective on Feb. 25 at Albany Police Headquarters, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said.

On March 21, Rockefeller threatened to commit murder in the Albany Law School area. That same day, he threatened to physically harm a member of the Albany Police Review Board.

Rockefeller faces up to 7 years in prison if sentenced on January 3.
