Man arrested for threatening to shoot at polling station – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man is facing a felony charge of making threats of violence after he allegedly threatened to shoot people at a polling place.

According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were dispatched to the polling station at 2122 Campus Drive SE in Rochester following a threatening call on Sunday, November 3 around 11:15 a.m.

Police tell us an election judge reported that a man later identified as Timothy Kearney, 46, of Rochester, was accompanying someone who was there to vote and making comments about shooting people.

Kearney was located by police at 2125 Silver Creek Corner Dr. SE Campus and transported to St. Marys due to his level of intoxication and later transported to the Adult Detention Center.
