Augusta Transit is offering free rides to vote on Election Day

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta Transit will be offering free rides all day on any bus route so you can exercise your right to vote, shop at the grocery store and visit the doctor on Election Day.

All Augusta Transit buses accommodate people with disabilities who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

For people with disabilities who require additional assistance and door-to-door transportation services, call 706-821-1819 to determine eligibility and arrange transportation with Augusta Transit. Reservations must be received no later than Monday, November 4th by 5:00 p.m. Same day travel reservations are not accepted.

Individuals living in the communities of Blythe and McBean can book a ride through Richmond Transit. Call 706-821-1497 to determine eligibility and arrange transportation with Richmond Transit.
