Barnsley hockey team suffer third defeat in a row

BARNSLEY lost 3-1 at home to title-chasing Huddersfield Dragons in the Yorkshire Peak and First Division Wold.

They are now ninth from 12 with six points from seven games.

The Reds had chances throughout the match but lost to their clinical visitors 3-0.

Adam Poskitt scored the final goal. Man of the match was Kieran Ryan.

They are now scheduled to host Sheffield Bankers from 10.30am on Saturday at Darton College as they look to end a three-game losing streak. The Bankers are second, one point behind Barnsley.
