Lady Gaga shows off her engagement ring in promotional video

Lady Gaga may have shown off her engagement ring back in September when she attended the Venice Film Festival with her fiancé Michael Polanski, but Little Monsters is now getting an even closer look at the ring and realizing just how huge the stone really is, thanks to her latest post in Instagram.

Gaga announced she had gone political, telling her 57.5 million followers via video post: “It’s time to get ready to vote. See you guys in Pennsylvania.” In the short video in which she endorsed Kamala Harris and J.D. Vance for President and Vice President, a brief look at the underside and position of the ring can be seen as she films the peace sign.

The pop star recently shed light on how Polanski asked her to marry him during an October 1 ceremony. Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance and showed that they often consider a modest wedding. “We’re actually talking about going to the courthouse just the two of us and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga said. But if her pop star image has its way, she’ll leave room for something more: “Knowing me, this could become a unicorn circus,” she added.

As for Polanski popping the question, Gaga said, “He proposed to me right after my birthday, so my birthday passed and I was like, ‘Well, I thought he was going to propose, but then maybe …””

Instead, Polanski used a more mundane moment to ask the question. “We were just walking back into the room and talking and he said… it was very Michael-like to ask me if he could ask me,” Gaga said. “He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before he proposed, and I said, ‘Yes! This is so normal!”
