Former Army rugby captain Sireli Ledoy is confident of the team’s preparedness to face the police in this year’s highly anticipated Sukuna Bowl match on Saturday.

Highlighting the strength and experience of the police team, especially in the striker, Ledoy stresses that this year’s clash is likely to end in a final outcome, unlike last year’s draw.

He expresses full confidence that the army team is ready to step up and fight for victory.

“We’ve seen the police team and they have more experience in packs, especially the police attackers. Yes, I believe that the hour will come, the hour will come when people are hungry for victory this year. Last year there was a draw, I think this year there will be no draw.”

The former Flying Fijians are fit and ready after competing in provincial competitions including the Skipper’s Cup in Suva, Naitasiri and Lautoka, as well as club rugby under the Suva Rugby Union.

The Vodafone Sukuna Bowl match between Army and Police will start on Saturday at 3pm and you can watch it live on FBC Sports.
