TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Two Tyler men facing charges in connection with a dog fighting investigation appeared in court Tuesday.

Kerry Jones, 34, and Michael Jones, 31, both of Tyler, were previously arrested in September.

Both men were charged with two counts of dog fighting and another charge of cruelty to non-pet animals.

In September, K. Jones was charged with dog fighting, participation in the livelihood/procurement of construction, cruelty to non-pet animals, and failure to provide food, care and shelter. He has a $560,000 bond.

M. Jones was charged with cruelty to animals other than pets: fighting or luring and has a $500,000 bond.
