Melania Trump’s appearances on the campaign trail have been rare. She may have been helping her son Barron Trump prepare for college in New York.

During the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, Melania Trump appeared at many of her husband’s campaign stops. Not so in 2024.

In another rare public appearance Melania Trump voted with her husband, former President Donald Trump, in her third and final bid for the White House.

Voting (in person) on Election Day was arguably the couple’s most important campaign performance in the 2024 presidential election.

When she was First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump was very visible. But since her husband was seeking re-election, Mrs Donald Trump behaved noticeably with restraint.

However, over the past two weeks the situation has changed.

On Tuesday, Nov. 5 – Election Day 2024 – Donald and Melania Trump voted at the Mandel Recreation Center, 340 Seaview Ave., Palm Beach. The couple then planned to go to Donald Trump’s private club, Mar-a-Lago.

On Sunday, October 27, the former first lady made a rare appearance at a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden—and the crowd went wild. SpaceX founder Elon Musk, one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters, introduced Melania Trump as the “First Lady of the United States.” She then walked out and waved to the music of “Paradise City” by Guns N Roses.

But before these unexpected appearances former model and longtime wife Reality TV star Donald Trump hasn’t officially stopped campaigning since last year’s Republican National Convention (see list below).

This time she didn’t make a speech like she did during RNA 2020 in Washington, D.C., but decided to sit in the Trump family box and appear on stage later with Donald Trump as he formally accepted the Republican nomination.

Barron Trump was the only direct Trump family member who did not attend the event 2024 NRC.

Barron Trump also reportedly did not attend Trump’s Oct. 27 rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, even though it is less than three miles from New York University. However, the 2024 Republican presidential candidate has drawn criticism from LGBTQ+ advocates for frequently ridiculing transgender athletes in his rally speeches. The Palm Beach Post reported that at an event in West Palm Beach in the fall of 2023, Donald Trump said the former first lady didn’t like him doing a certain “program” — one in which he ridiculed a transgender weightlifter — saying she told him it wasn’t a presidential matter.
