Just hours after polls close, the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is scheduled to launch from California’s Vandenburg Space Force Base, the Daily Mail reports. While the timing of the launch certainly raised some eyebrows, military officials assured that “the test is routine and has been planned for several years in advance.”
