Four East Texas residents will compete for the rodeo’s top prize.

LAS VEGAS (KLTV) – Four East Texas cowboys are heading to the 2024 National Rodeo Finals.

Kincaid Henry of Mount Pleasant, a 22-year-old tightrope walker, earned a spot in the NFR as a cowboy who finished eighth in his event. Henry earned $140,958 for the 2024 season, including spots in the championship rounds of the CINCH Playoff Series in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in September.

Caden Profili of Jacksonville, the seventh member of the PRCA team, also qualified for the NFR. For the season, Profiles earned $126,836. Profiles’ highest single prize was $8,800 for second place in the finals of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Justin Shaffer of Hallsville, ranked 11th in the PRCA rankings, will also compete at nationals. Shaffer earned $96,382 for the year, including CINCH playoff spots.

Shelley Morgan of Eustace, ranked 13th in the PRCA barrel racing rankings, also qualified for the NFR. Morgan earned $84,568 for the 2024 season, with her highest single cash being $8,516 for her performance at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo in Wyoming.
