Sami Zain Tells the Hilarious Backstory of a Classic Family Lineage Photo

Sami Zayn tried to join and then eventually joined the Bloodline, but it was a time-limited story. However, Zane’s inclusion came so quickly and became so popular that he became an integral part of the story.

Zayn has become a fan favorite, making every member of the group laugh on air, as well as giving us timeless sayings like “Honorary Ucey” and “Feeling Ucey.”

With the OG bloodline seemingly reunited, a debate has been brewing about Zayn’s status as “family” to Roman Reigns and Uso. Like all hot topics in professional wrestling, the World of Memes has once again taken control and provided us with exceptional creations based on this new chapter of history.

One of these memes came to the forefront of Zayn’s mind, and it’s giving us all some context we didn’t even know we needed.

Zayn posted a photo on his social media accounts that originally circulated during the original Bloodline/Zayn performance in 2022 and 2023, with some backstory.

“I remember that day well. It was Friday. We were hanging out that night and I remember it well because on the way to the club we were listening to DMX and that was the first time I ever heard someone say a song was “cool.” Great times, but unfortunately those times are gone.”

Zayn didn’t specify what DMX song this is, but judging by the clothing styles in the photo, it’s possible that the song comes from either 2001’s “The Great Depression” or 2003’s “Grand Champ.” However, it’s likely that the record was X’s seminal 1998 version of “Ruff Ryders Anthem.”

Zayn appeared at the end of a six-man match that pitted Reigns and The Usos against Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. The OG Pedigree surrounded Solo, but as a result, Zayn inadvertently gave Reigns a Hell Punch. Time will tell if OG Bloodline can find common ground to defeat the new Solo mode.
