Season record: 70-89-1

Purdue vs. Ohio State Prediction and Picks

Pick: Ohio State (-37.5)

Miami (FL) vs. Georgia Tech. Forecast and choice

Pick: Georgia Tech (+11.5)

As stated above, King’s status is critical and we won’t get much clarity until kickoff as an early indication is that the Georgia Tech quarterback will be a decision-maker heading into Saturday due to a shoulder injury.

If King doesn’t go, Georgia Tech’s offense will lose effectiveness in the passing game against a vulnerable Miami secondary that isn’t ranked in the top 100 in explosive pass defense this season.

The strength of Miami’s defense is on the line, ranking 23rd in line yards and 30th in yards per carry allowed, but if Georgia Tech can utilize players like Eric Singleton and Malik Rutherford with a viable passing game , this could open up opportunities. racing tracks for Jamal Haynes.

On the other hand, Georgia Tech has been a solid defense all season, 45th in EPA/Play, but is much stronger against the run (second in defensive line yards) than the pass, which could be an issue in Miami’s passing game. which is the Heisman Trophy leader in Ward under center.

However, I can’t ignore Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key’s dominance as an underdog. Key is 12-6 against the spread and is an underdog in two-plus years at Georgia Tech with nine straight losses.

I will earn points with the Yellow Vests.

Florida vs Texas: Prediction and Selection

Pick: Texas (-21.5)

Georgia vs Ole Miss Prediction and Picks

Choice: Georgia (-2.5)

Michigan vs Indiana Prediction and Picks

Pick: Indiana (-13.5)

There is a gap between Indiana and Michigan, that’s for sure, but what exactly is it?

The odds have failed to record Indiana’s dominance throughout the season, going undefeated against the spread (depending on the number you bet), while Michigan has failed to live up to its ranking, going just 2-7 against the spread.

The Wolverines’ defense will certainly be the best unit Indiana has ever faced, but the offense still lacks the ability to handle the workload week after week. Michigan has scored more than 24 points only once in Big Ten play this season and returns its third quarterback of the season in Warren.

Indiana benefited from an easy schedule, but the team’s ability to make plays in the backfield is notable against a Michigan defense that lacks explosiveness on offense. Indiana ranks in the top five in tackles this season and yards allowed per game. Meanwhile, Michigan ranks 116th in EPA/Pass rankings and will often fall behind in this case.

This game could quickly snowball across Michigan. The team’s inability to produce consistent play will be paramount against an Indiana team that showed a willingness to step it up in the second half.

It’s Hoosiers or nothing here.

Iowa State vs. Kansas Prediction and Picks

Pick: Kansas (+3)

Army vs. North Texas: Prediction and Picks

Pick: North Texas (+6)

Clemson v. Virginia Tech. Forecast and choice

Pick: Virginia Tech (+6.5)

Colorado vs. Texas Tech Forecast and Picks

Pick: Texas Tech (+3.5)

South Carolina vs Vanderbilt. Forecast and choice

Pick: Vanderbilt (+3.5)

Maryland vs Oregon Prediction and Picks

Pick: Oregon (-25)

Mississippi State vs Tennessee Prediction and Picks

Pick: Mississippi State (+23.5)

Tennessee faces Georgia in Athens next week, and the Vols have fallen short of oddsmakers’ expectations throughout SEC play, failing to become double-digit favorites on all three occasions.

The Vols offense started to come together against Kentucky last week, but I can’t trust this team to beat a team that has shown it can move the ball as the season progresses. Freshman Michael Van Buren Jr. has kept the offense on point over the last five games, leading to covers in four of the five games.

What’s most interesting about Mississippi State’s season trajectory is its ability to keep pace with the top teams on its schedule, playing Georgia and Texas by an average margin of 24 points.

Florida State vs. Notre Dame. Forecast and choice

Pick: Notre Dame (-26.5)

Alabama vs LSU Prediction and Picks

Pick: Alabama (-2.5)

Washington vs. Penn State: Prediction and Picks

Pick: Pennsylvania (-13.5)

This is a great opportunity to support Penn State in its annual “White Game.”

Of course, many watched as the Nittany Lions lost a playoff game against Ohio State last week, but this is a great matchup for a home favorite to take down a superior Washington team.

The Huskies’ defense is incredibly vulnerable against the run, which is Penn State’s offense of choice. The Nittany Lions rank 10th in yards per game thanks to their dual-threat rushing attack of Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton opening up the passing game, which ranks in the top 10 in the country in EPA/Pass.

Washington’s defensive line has been a weak spot all season, ranking 92nd in line yards and 93rd in EPA/Rush.

Given the cross-country travel and hostile environment, I like that Penn State pulled out a convincing win.

Nevada vs Boise State: Prediction and Picks

Choice: Nevada (+24)

Virginia vs. Pittsburgh: Prediction and Picks

Pick: Virginia (+7.5)

BYU vs Utah Prediction and Picks

Pick: Utah (+4)

Utah State vs Washington State Prediction and Picks

Pick: Utah State (+20.5)
